BRITOVŠEK Zvonimir, DRI (SLO)
He graduated in 1982 from the Faculty of
Natural Sciences and Engineering at University of Ljubljana. From 1982 to 1985 he participated in Gorenje RR in control of
metallic materials in the laboratory for mechanical and metallographic
investigations. From 1985 to 1989 he participated in the Development Center
Celje in the development of counter-current missiles.The focus of this period of
work was on asphalt and bitumen
research, development and production of own PmB, use of secondary raw materials
in asphalt mixtures, development of NT bitumens and warm asphalt mixtures and
development of less noisy asphalts and energy savings in asphalt production. From 2014 to 2018 he led DRC d.o.o. and during this period coordinated the organization of two congresses on roads and traffic. Since 2018 he is employed at DRI d.o.o. as a professional associate, he works mainly in the field of asphalts and preparation of technical specifications for transport infrastructure.

mag. HENIGMAN Slovenko, ZAS & Sloman (SLO)
In 1998 – 2014 he was head of the technology team and director of highway construction, where he was head of the ASPHALT Commission at DARS for 20 years. He is a longtime president of the Slovenian Asphalt Pavement Association and director of the National Association of consulting Engineers od Slovenia at the GZS – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. He is the initiator of the implementation of the Golden Investment Rule, the Academy of Construction Investments and the operation of the Strategic Council for Investment and Construction at the GZS. At home and internationally, he published numerous contributions in the field of asphalt and transport infrastructure.

Dr. HRIBAR Dejan, STRABAG (SLO)
In
2014, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Ljubljana, he defended
his doctoral dissertation, the program Built Environment, scientific field of
Civil Engineering. He is employed by STRABAG d.o.o., Ljubljana, TPA service
department, as the Technical Head of the Quality Assurance and Innovation
Department. In addition to studying materials and technologies, he is also
involved in research and sizing of pavement structures. He is an active member
of the technical committee of ZAS and the council of
experts of the Concrete Association of Slovenia (ZBS).

Dr.-Ing. JOHANNSEN Knut, Eurovia (D)
Since 2011 he is a head of department, authorized signatory at EUROVIA Services GmbH and managing director of Accredited laboratory »MPV«. He is a member of German road and transport research department, German Asphalt Association, German Asphalt Institute. In EAPA his function is head of Technical Committee and member of Health-Safety-Enviroment Comittee.

mag. JURGELE Mitja, DRI (SLO)
Mitja Jurgele completed his undergraduate and master studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Ljubljana. He has been employed as Professional Consultant at DRI Investment Management ltd. since 2010. His main activities are development of Infrastructure management tools, organisation and monitoring of quality control programs for infrastructure investments and pavement design and monitoring. He is a co-author of the book Asphalt2.

Dr. KARCHER Carsten, EAPA (B)
Graduated from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany the former University of Karlsruhe as a civil engineer. In 2004 he got his Doctors Degree at the same university. From 1999 on he was research assistant, head of the Testing Centre according to German guidelines and at the end head of the department “Highway Construction Technology” at KIT. He has a strong bonding to asphalt material and a founded understanding of its technical, environmental and social issues. As head of the department he acquired and conducted research projects mainly in the field of asphalt pavements. Carsten Karcher started on 1 July 2013 as the Director of EAPA and dealt with Health, Safety and Environmental issues and Political items. On 1 January 2019 Dr. Karcher became Secretary General of EAPA.

ZORE Damijan, IGMAT (SLO)
His first job was in 1991 at SCT d.d. as a machinist of construction machinery for the laying of asphalt mixtures. In 1994, he finished his work as a mechanical technician and became the head of the asphalt group. After a few years, he enrolled in part-time studies and in 2001 graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy. In Igmat, he has have been working in the asphalt department for 14 years. He is the head of the laboratory and has been recycling with foamed bitumen for 10 years.

MATUL Nika, Sloman (SLO)
She studied at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering in Ljubljana and finished the programme of Water Management and Communal Engineering. She is employed by the company Sloman, on the field of consulting engineering.
She works in the field of civil engineering design and supervision and participates in the preparation of expert opinions and professional studies. She is a member of the ASFALT 4.0 Expert Committee, within which she is committed to the development and progress of the asphalt industry.

Dr. POTTI Juan Jose, ASEFMA / EAPA (ES)
Juan José Potti has beenTechnicalDirector atEurovia(Spain) from1984 to 2006, Manager of the Eurovia Pôle d’Émulsions since its foundation until 2006 and Project Coordinator for several R&D projects funded by the European Commission.In April 2006 he became the General Manager of the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Asphalt Mixtures (Asefma); in March 2012 he was elected President and therefore became the Executive President of Asefma @asefma_es, a position he currently holds.From 2008 to 2013 he was Project Coordinator of the most important R&D Bituminous Mixtures project founded by the Centre for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI)(with a budget of more than 28 million euros) entitled Proyecto FENIX.Currently he is Vice-President of the Spanish Road Association (AEC) @AECarretera, and President of the Spanish Road Technology Platform (PTC) @PTCarretera. Juan José Potti became a member of the EAPA @eapa_orgExecutive Committee in 2009, he was awarded with the EAPA Asphalt Advocate of the year award in 2018 and was elected Vice-President of EAPA in June 2019.

mag. ROŠER Rok, Kolektor CPG (SLO)
Rok Rošer studied at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering in Ljubljana and finished in 2020 master’s degree programme of civil engineering. He is employed at construction company Kolektor CPG d.o.o.,in the field of asphalt. He is a member of the ZAS and also a member of the ASFALT 4.0 Expert Committee, which is taking part in activities towards the development of asphalt.

ŠMUC Sonja, Slovenian Business Club (SLO)
Sonja Šmuc is an excellent connoisseur of the economic and business environment. She started her career in publishing as a business journalist and editor, for 12 years she led the Manager Association, and for more than 3 years she was the general director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. This year she was appointed executive director of the Slovenian Business Club – the Club of Slovenian Entrepreneurs.
As a
member, she has served in various domestic and international expert committees,
such as the Advisory Committee for Equal Opportunities at the European
Commission, the BAMC Accreditation Commission, the Strategic Competitiveness
Council at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the Summit100
Board of Directors. digitization, etc.
She holds
a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from the Faculty of Economics in
Ljubljana, a training course at Standford in the USA and the
Wirtschaftsuniversitaet in Vienna, as well as at IEDC Bled.

Dr. TUŠAR Marjan, Kemijski inštitut (SLO)
Recently, he has been professionally involved in asphalt additives (PMMA, under the trade name Kerrock, as an additive to asphalt and bitumen, Pyrolytic product from waste rubber as a rejuvenating additive to asphalt granulate and Influence of low temperature additives on the properties of bitumen and asphalt mixtures. He also devoted himself to researching the laboratory compaction of asphalt mixtures and, more recently, to researching the preparation of asphalt pre-compositions. He is a member of CEN TC 227 WP 1 and RILEM (International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials, Systems and Structures). Within the Technical Committee 279-WMR he leads TG1 (Asphalt Binder Additives). He is also an expert auditor for SA (Slovenian Accreditation) and for HAA (Croatian Accreditation Agency). He has co-authored around 30 articles with IF (Impact Factor), of which more than half are in the field of asphalt and bitumen.

SVOBODA Petr, Road Contractors Association (CZ)

CUDERMAN Luka, GGD (SLO)
Employed in Gorenjska gradbena družba as head of the department of development and quality, where he has been responsible for ongoing control of production facilities and internal quality control on construction sites for 20 years. He is also a member of the ZAS Education section.

mag. RAVNIKAR TURK Mojca, ZAG (SLO)
Is the head of the Laboratory for Asphalts and Bitumen Products at ZAG Ljubljana, which is a public institution that performs public service in the field of scientific research and development activities. The experts of the laboratory cooperate a lot with the asphalt industry in Slovenia and perform quality control for demanding road construction facilities. Mojca Ravnikar Turk completed her civil engineering studies in 1988 at the University of Ljubljana at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and her master’s degree in 2016 at the same faculty. He has been working in the field of geotechnics and road construction for more than 30 years and has experience in various fields; design of protection of burials and high embankments, technical observation of water barriers, construction of roads and waterproofing of concrete bridges. She is the president of the Slovenian Geotechnical Association (SloGeD) in the period 2016-2021 and a member of the board of directors of the main section of civil engineers at IZS in the period 2017-2021. In addition, she is a member of the Technical Committee for Moisture (SIST / TC VLA) and the head of the Watherproofing section at ZAS.

BOHUŠ Stepan, Saint Gobain (CZ)
Business Manager at Saint-Gobain Adfors, leading
worldwide producer of technical textile. As reinforcement meshes, grids,
vlieses for various construction sectors. Currently responsible for geotextile business
with focus on infrastructure applications. Its strategy, sales and technical
support activity’s in EMEA markets. Has background of working in academia
R&D, commercial sector customers technical support and business
development.
In technical know-how focusing on technologies for construction
life expansion as geosynthetics, waterproofing systems for buildings, construction
insulation and material testing. Inventor of various technical solutions for
the building and road construction sector. In time active in several European
and country level associations for development of new geotextile technical
standards as EN, ISO, IGS.
